The Link. No Tiger - but the Open will go on without him. Tiger mentions his knee and Achilles as the health issue causing him to forego the Open. One has to wonder if he can win again - he's getting older, his health is showing the signs, and there are a lot of very good younger players in the field now. Jack's record may be safe from Tiger.

IMHO his mental injuries are worse than his physical injuries. Tiger has never had to fight for a win, so, while he has the ability to be a front runner, he doesn't have the mental make-up to fight through every round.

He will have a mini-resurface, but I agree, Jack's records are safe for now.
