Ticket prices

George Bailey

No beans in my chili, thank you
Tickets for the tceh game next Saturday are going from $209 to $447 on Stubhub. A few weeks ago we were there for the Saturday game against KSU, I thought the $37 a seat I paid was steep then. Are these prices being driven by the COVID restrictions/demand? Anyone in the know think prices will eventually come back down once we're back at 100%?

I'm a long-time season ticket holder (1984). Before Stub Hub, there was a ticket exchange where we could put tickets we weren't going to use up for sale, but could not go over the regular admission price. I guess UT was running that system. Since they hooked up with Stub Hub, I just give my tickets to friends if I can't go to the game. The limited capacity due to Covid restrictions along with the fact that the team is doing so well must be driving up the price.

If you go to the box office anytime before the game you can scan the QR code that's in the window and open the website it takes you to. Then bookmark that website or add it to your phones home screen

UT opens up this site 70 minutes before first pitch so you can purchase tickets.
No need to be at the box office you can be anywhere. After the first time it should only take you minutes to buy tickets.
Prices with fees are $14 per ticket

I have heard they may be opening up more tickets as early as this week.
I have also seen CDC telling people not to worry about getting tickets and to come on out. Which leaves me to believe that the 25% capacity is just for appearances and if they need to sell more they will.
