Actually Oilfield, I would give Boehner the credit for the initial plan. He did a hell of a job negotiating with the President, and got far more concessions then I would have anticipated from a democratic president.

Boehner's standing has gone up with me. Unfortunately, he is leading a party that prefers ideological fervor to pragmatic leadership.
