Great episode last night. As a guy who has watched from day 1, it is hard to accept some of the things that are playing out, and the realization that it is going to be over soon. I guess I have to have faith that the writers will tie it all up and still keep viewers guessing til the end

I feel the same way. Great show and I do not want it to come to an end, but I do want to see how it is played out.

Last night was one of the best episodes of the entire series. The scene where Two Man turned on Shane was absolutely fantastic.

Five episodes to go.

Shane is on the run, Vic resigned and is looking to kill Shane. I bet the whole crew goes up in flames when it all ends. Im going to miss this show.

Vic will live. Shane will die. Ronnie will die. Claudette will die (illness). Dutch will get promoted. Billings will stay the same. Julian will get promoted. Acevedo's political career will get killed.

Vic's punishment for his sins is the loss of his friends (Ronnie, Shane, Lem) and his family (out of his life). They won't kill him off, but the show will end with his life as a living hell.

Holy ****, Vic resigned..I never saw that coming, as hard as he fought to keep his job. When this show first started, I thought Vic was a racist, pos. Over the years he has softened and I kinda feel for him. With his job gone, family gone and now one of his closest friends trying to kill me, he has my sympathy.

Still find it hard to believe he used to be in 'the Commish', the guy is a great actor.

Dutch (Jay Karnes) Wagenbach played the role of a rogue ATF agent and stalker in the series "Sons of Anarchy"
He was gut shot by the woman he was stalking and then was finished off by her
biker beau with a head shot.

Speaking of Dutch, I always thought that he was the cuddler killer that they were after a couple of seasons ago. Does anybody remember the episode where he went into his back ally and just strangled a cat to death?

okay, if i was running like shane is, i'd want a ***** like his wife with me....how vic got away with having a piece but no badge is weird...dutch and lawsuit are going to duke it out

Not sure how this show is going to end up. Get to thinking one thing then it all blows up the next week. Don't see it ending happily ever after for many involved, but can't see Vick going to prison at the end. That would make for the most realistic but least entertaining finale.

You are right about that. It changes about every 5 minutes now. They will tie everything up in a nice little bow somehow though, seeing as how it is the best show on TV.

If I were to make a prediction, I get the feeling that Vic will somehow come out of it "ok" (alive, though w/o his family - which is most important to him), but Shane & his family will get killed and Ronnie will end up going to jail b/c he won't give Vic up. Who knows though.

Last night's episode was incredible though. I love the episodes w/ limited commercials.

I have to think they all end up dead. CCH Pounder was interviewed and said something like, "everyone gets what they deserve". I assume that mean death for Shane. Rest of strike team, death or prison. Aceveda prison.

Well it looks like Vic skates with the feds and hangs all his buddies in the process if he doesn't catch a bullet first.

NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
Why Vic why?
How could you hang Ronnie out to dry?

Predictions for the end based on nothing.
Dutch gets killed by the kid serial killler.
Vic helps Ronnie go to Mexico.
Acevedo goes down.
Vic joins ICE and maybe gets a spinoff.
Claudette gets sick and dies.

I am not going to sleep tonight. The third time this has happened after a shield.
1. When Acevedo go mouth pumped.
2. When Lem got blown up.
3. When Vic game up Ronnie.

And I am sad the best show in television has only one episode left.

What an episode. That was pure tension from start to finish. The Shield is definitely going out on a high note. This reminds me of the last couple of episodes of the Sopranos - hopefully the conclusion will play itself out better.

I've never really liked Claudette but I could feel for her tonight when she walked into the interview room and saw what was going on. Also, for Vic to sell out Ronnie to get Corinne a "deal" was just tragic, but obviously that won't be the end of the story. I just don't see them leaving Ronnie as the only guy going to prison (I'm guessing Shane will get killed).

I think that Shane and Mara will die next week. Maybe Ronnie too. If he has any idea that he is going to get caught he will go down in a blaze of glory before he goes to the Pen. I keep thinking that the serial kller kid will try to do a Columbine, maybe in the barn.

What a show. What an episode. I can't believe it is coming to an end. At least the finale will be 90
minutes.

I'll be very sad to see this show end. It's just as instense as it was the first season. Did anyone else catch the reference either last night or last week's episode to the Rampart Division? I think it was Claudette who told Dutch or Julian to get backup from the Rampart Division for something. If you'll remember, the Rampart Division in the 90's was busted for doing a lot of the same things the Strike Team does on the show. I thought that was the writer's way of tipping their hat to the LAPD and letting us now this show is a quasi-documentary.

As for Vic's confession last night, what did the Feds think he was going to confess to? Granted, they couldn't have expected a two hour confession on everything he had ever done but what were they expecting?

I expect the series finale to be a blood bath. I used to think the series had to end with Vic either in jail or dead but now I'm not so sure.

It's been out there all along that this was based on the Rampart fiasco. It was going to be called Rampart at first but think it was a bit too touchy.

Last night was the first episode I've seen, could someone bring me up to speed on everything thats happened?

j/k
