Thankyou all who kept my son and my family in your prayers. (Please see the thread: My three year old son is diagnosed?)

What started out as a bone cyst turned into a solid tumor after the MRI. We saw a bone tumor specialist in San Antonio. He immediatly told us it was cancer. We were devestated for 72 hours. The emotions that we put our family and friends through for that time period was devestating. We were giving a 65% chance of survival. During the biopsy he did what is called a frozen section that would confirm cancer and the Ewings sarcoma that he has now been diagnosed with. The frozen section came back negative for the round-cells that he was looking for but he told us not to be to hopeful because of his age and were the tumor wa that It was definetly going to be cancer. Meanwhile my wife use to work for the pediatric oncologist in town and we have friends who are oncology nurses @ Childrens. ( I remember waiting for my wife to finish her work and I would playwith those precious cancer kids and they are so aware of everything. This was now going to be us.) We were discharged and went home to grieve and wait for what type of cancer that we would have to fight. After the permenant section on the biopsy was completed, the doctor called us the next day and told us that my son does not have cancer. He has a rare benign tumor that has been documented in one other 3 year old. My family and friends and anyone who has read my thread has been blessed. I truly believe that a miracle has happen and I want to share the news with my fellow Hornfans brothers and sisters. My son had a partial scapulectomy a couple of weeks ago and he is doing fine. The doctor said that we would be suprised of how much motion he will regain in his arm.

ONCE AGAIN. THANK YOU ALL.
