I agree with all but one point.
You are saed when you are baptized as is illustrated in Acts 2:38. Telling people to believe only is misleading, for the Bible explicitly states: "Believe and be BAPTISED everyone of you, for the forgiveness of sins........"
 
John 3:16 says nothing about baptism being a requirement for salvation.
 
Jesus saves. Baptism is the outward expression to others of the decision we have made in our hearts. It is not a requirement as represented by the theif of the cross who was told "today, you will be with me in paradise". He had lived a life so sinful that he was given the death penalty, but his heart turned to Jesus before he died and despite the fact that he did not get baptized, Jesus told him he would go to heaven.
