i've always wondered what they team with the losing teams gear. and i saw a thing on it last year. i believe it's illegal for them to bring the shirts and hats into the states
If you collected a championship shirt of every major US sporting event runner-up for the next 50 years, you might have a valuable collection.
Of course, I expect that some years in the NBA or NHL or in MLB that wouldn't work because they probably hold off printing anything until a team at least gets a couple of wins.
I bought 3 USC champs shirts for $5. Gave two of them to fellow workers who bet me $200 a piece on the game. I loved giving that to them. The other I wear to work whenever they have a big game to bring them back down to earth. They are soooo cocky when they win, but once they lose a game or two you can hear a pen drop. No one is even remotely interested in the team. Very fair weather here in LA.
I can see this at a low water point along the border.
INS Agent- You, in the river. Get over here now! Do you know how much trouble you are in?
Guy - Yes sir. I was uhhhh....retrieving something the river.
INS Agent - Sure you were. I bet it was that contraband t-shirt you are wearing. Do you realize how many laws you are breaking by wearing unlicensed NFL apparel. This is serious business.
Guy - I am sorry sir. I promise I did not know.
INS Agent- Tell you what. Leave the hat and the shirt with me and you can go, but next time you are in big trouble. Okay?
Guy- Yes sir. I promise you will never see me again!
INS Agent - Great. Who knows what could happen if we don't stem the tide of illegal clothing entering our country from these Latin American countries!
