TigerBandMan

It's a new day and with it comes new challenges. Congratulations to the longhorns on their victory over TCU and welcome back to OMAHA! This teams pitching has carried them all the way so far and and now its time for the Horns to shine. Lets see what kind of damage can be done by the Texans in Nebraska.

I am writing this to put things into a little more perspective. Quoted from the "Tip your hats to TCU" thread.

TBM...

Huh?!?

Are you talking 'bout the 5th Championship with Tigger vs. CSF or am I missing something? It is late but I don't think the Brackets for Omaha are the same ones in your head 'cause you'll see CSF long before you get to the 6th Championship - The Series.

I'm going to bed.

TigerBandMan is very confused. Perhaps TBM should not make predictions until he has someone explain the brackets 1 & 2 system to him.

When I read his post, I thought the lateness of the hour was confusing me on his championship prediction. Then I realized like the rest of you that I know my brackets. He must think that the series is under the old format.

All I had to do was look at the author of the post and realize it would be drivel, flame bait and not much past an elementary level of information. I was proven right.

I would say to research your info and get back to us but please don't.

Don't take the bait, folks.

You come to this board with less than 25 posts and the word "Tiger" in your name, predict LSU and CSF in the championship series (which isn't a possibility), and expect us to believe you are a Texas fan? Nice try. Might want to brush up on the format of the CWS, learn something about all 8 teams, and then come back to run your smack.

After reading the TigerBandMan (how manly is that?), even as a Louisiana boy and long time LSU fan, I hope we play them in the finals and whip their asses.

TBM - before running smack, it might be a good idea to actually look at the bracket. Then you may be able to comprehend (maybe) that LSU will get smoked long before the CWS championship weekend, and the tiggers and CSF cannot play for all the goods. Dumb ***. You may also want to brush up on your first opponent and your first loss, i.e. VA. Enjoy the BBQ.

This LSU team is the greatest ever assembled and would easily smoke an all-star team made up of the '27 Yankees the '75 Reds.

I think this LSU baseball team could defeat the Greatest Armies of the World, although it would have to be a doubleheader.
Shouldn't Mr. Tiger be out capturing nutria for dinner or something else he has more talent for than posting drivel on HornFans?

I'm glad yall think its funny. What is also funny is how not a single person had anything to say about Texas struggling against sub par teams. Texas is over rated and you will figure it out very soon. I will be back to eat crow if I am wrong. And forgive me, it had been a long monday night, i meant UNC.

oh my, another pre-teen on this board--how much fun you will have spelling "College" and other big words like "Intentional Walk"--I think your mom just called with your supper of macaroni and cheese is ready--good luck, kid!!

There are 5 or 6 teams in this CWS that could get hot and win it all - witness what happened the last couple of years. LSU is one of those teams. So is Texas. There is no dominate team in college baseball this year. To say that UT is "overrated" is about as useful as saying that LSU will meet CSF in the finals.

Yes, we've lost some games, especially midweek, that we probably should have or could have won. The same thing has happened to every other team in Omaha. When you are facing the best pitcher from some Directional School, a loss is always a possibility. The new condensed season format makes that almost a given.

Does that make Texas (or ASU or CSF or UNC or LSU) overrated? Nope. It just means we should have a great CWS. So until you can come up with some better stats to show how your Tigers are so great, go back to the swamp and your frog gigging. Enjoy those crawdad heads. Some of us will be enjoying Omaha steaks.
