The most overplayed song in American history.

Besides our national anthem, have to be Hotel California or Sweet Home Alabama. If I never hear either one of them ever again I will die a happy man.

Yeah...exactly how is the national anthem overplayed? I only hear it at official events (sports, education). We play it at these events because, frankly, if there were no United States, there would be no college football, mlb, nfl, or public education system.

And I'm pretty jealous Alabama (and also Georgia) have such great songs about their state. Sweet Home Alabama rocks.

I forgot about brown eyed girl. The only reason I like that song is cause when girls hear it they get more excited than they would normally have been otherwise.

I play that song if I am guaranteed, in writing, that thing that sounds kind of like the first part of Kal El's superhero name.

it's the god damn 'moves her body like a cyclone' ******* **** *** **** song.

unfucking real how much that song is played. i want to kill the girl who influenced that song. after we have no sex at all

i haven't heard it too much lately but from about 1975 - 2000, i heard it every damn day it seemend.

Pride and Joy - Stevie Ray Vaughan.

I am beyond sick of that song. That's right, I said it.

Wow, there's some good songs on here. They're classics for a reason, you know.

Nevertheless, my first thought was American Pie. Great song but played to death.

Sweet Home Alabama? Stranglehold? Nah.

Pride and Joy?!? Sapo, I award you no points PLUS You are the weakest link; Goodbye!

If I ever hear No Woman No Cry again I am going to hurt somebody. I love reggae, but that song and most classic rock can remain in the archives for all I care. Just tired of hearing it.

i'm with crayon.

i think anyone who's ever been in a band for very long feels this way.

there are certain songs that make you ache all over, and the top 3 would have to be brown eyed girl, margaritaville, and freebird. (or ANYTHING by skynyrd as far as i'm concerned)

just a few weeks ago, at one of our gigs, we almost got into a fistfight with some crackwhore that would NOT shut up about brown-eyed girl.

we gave her hell & embarassed her in front of the crowd until she finally left.

and just for the record, i wanna say how much i hate "house of the risin' sun."
