"The individual mandate is not a tax" meant just what it said. He was trying to deceive us and ironically the Conservative Supreme Court Justice bailed him out by declaring it to be so.

That individual mandate was ridiculous. About that same time, I noticed, if a person changed jobs, there was a (usually) 30 day wait to be eligible for benefits and health insurance at the new job resulting in folks getting zapped with a penalty for not having insurance. I changed jobs and got a $675 penalty. It was definitely a "mandate" unless you wanted to pay the penalty which was your only choice. As I recall also, you could not always keep your doctor because the doctors were not "mandated" to accept Obamacare.

The reason the tax argument worked in court is that the mandate was structured like a tax. There wasn't a fine or criminal sanction for not having insurance. There was a tax increase, but if you're a taxpaying American who obeys the law, there's no difference. (In other words, the Administration lied to the public, not to the court). And of course, we very stupidly gave Congress almost absolute taxing power in the 16th Amendment.

There is something just not right with the Dems trying to block the wall. Trying to keep the flow of illegals coming across just doesn’t make sense for them. Yes they want those crossing as voters. But that doesn’t help them near as much the black eye they are getting for not caring about our safety as Americans and not to mention the drug flow. It’s just not logical for them to be bigger advocates for Mexican citizens than for our own people (the real citizens) of America. America voted for the person they thought would give us a wall and protect us. There is nothing logical with what the Dems are trying to do. Or is there?

So they like the voters coming across, but I’m starting to think this is much bigger than that? It has to be a personal gain for either themselves or their party to go this far away from logic. There has to be money involved and lots of it. Is it coming from the drug cartel? The Mexico Government? They both can and probably do benefit from the sales they make by bringing there product across the border. So do we have politicians being paid off by the cartel or Mexico Government? I think it’s a strong possibility. Because the Libs don’t give a damn about the people of Mexico. Heck I’m not sure they give a damn about us here in America. I’m not even mentioning just a few short years again that Chuck, Nancy, and Obama were adamant for having a wall. What changed? There’s no other answer or logic to their craziness about this blocking the wall.

During the El Chapo trial those three US representatives were there meeting with Mexico President Nieto. Probably just a coincidence. The timing just has to be. Below is the caption or write up to the pic that’s floating around. I’d download the pic but haven’t figure out how. Pelosi and Beto colluding with Mexico? Bribery and open borders by the Libs are the only explanation why they are willing to risk our safety.

The Chapo, Pena, Pelosi, O'Rourke thing does make some sense.

There is not documentation on the $100M to Pena. O'Rourke's family lives in El Paso, a known pipeline into the US and father O'Rourke is a judge there. I wouldn't be surprised to learn to he had a connection to drug industry. There were some drug possession allegations about him and Robert I think I remember hearing about. So does the connection go beyond use/possession. Doubt it.

Don't know about Pelosi though. My quick search didn't lead to any obvious connections. Maybe it is just a conspiracy theory but I do believe people work together when there interests are aligned and lining your pocket with cash is a common interest.
