You said it more clearly than I did. As a result of numbers of men and women in varsity sports, there are more women's varsity sports at UT than men.

Another factor that must be considered is the university's general population demographic. UT has a student body that is 58% female. I'm not sure exactly how that all factors in, but it must be considered if I read it correctly.
