The Cure @ Austin Music Hall

Regarding obscure cure at the HK show there was a bunch of 40 year old brits with their kids and a bunch of local Chinese.

The brits (and me) were in ecstasy the whole time, the Chinese (and my GF) seemed bored until Friday Im In love came on and they went bat **** crazy.

HK concerts - no opening bands and they start at exactly the time it says on the ticket - I have warmed to this concept.

Houston set list:

out of this world, want, fascination street, a night like this, the end of the world, lovesong, a boy i never knew, pictures of you, lullaby, maybe someday, from the edge of the deep green sea, the perfect boy, the kyoto song, hot hot hot, the only one, the blood, sleep when i'm dead, push, how beautiful you are, inbetween days, just like heaven, a letter to elise, us or them, one hundred years, bloodflowers,
E1: plainsong, disintegration,
E2: boys don't cry, jumping someone else's train, grinding halt, 10:15 saturday night, killing an arab,
E3: a forest

Unbelievable. Talk about a band that changes it up each and every night! THREE songs from "Bloodflowers" when none were played in Dallas or Austin. "The Blood," a personal favorite. "Hot Hot Hot" and "A Letter To Elise" for those who like their bouncy Cure singles. And both "Plainsong" and "Disintegration" in the encore!!

I am going to have to catch another show on this tour. These set lists are amazing.
