The Ags are looking pretty good this season

I wouldn't compare today's Corps of Cadets to the heros from 60 years ago, nor would I compare them to the service academies. All of the grads of the service academies have to service in the military. Many of the upper division corps is just ceremonial, with no committment to any branch of our military.

And horns aren't the only ones not impressed with the corps, plenty of non-regs on the a&m campus have a dislike for the corps.

As for as the baseball team, looks like they are going to win the the Big 12. Congrats.

As I recall, the Longhorns went to the CWS in 1989. Almost won it as well. We lost to Wichita State in the last game. Pretty sweet to have that success during the Aggies best season ever.

Should we now post all the names of the WWI and WWII veterans from The University of Texas who are honored on the plaques in Memorial Stadium?
How about the ones from Baylor, Wofford, and Montana State? They served their country with great honor as well.
None of that has anything to do with baseball, the aggy corps, or dead dog scoreboards, nothing.
Some ROTC guys are in UT fraternities. Some are in the Baylor band. Some are on the Montana State golf team. Some are in the corps. It doesn't make any of those institutions worthy of unearthly reverence.
