Colt is not the same player he was a year ago. Just as he improved from Spring '06 practice to the '06 season, he's making a similar leap this year.

Plus, the dude is running a legit 4.5--and a low 4.5, at that, maybe even a high 4.4. Amazing.

Speaking of vision, I used to really like Ron Franklin, but I'm afraid he is starting to suffer from dementia.

Colt starts the second half with another inch-perfect pass for a touchdown. His numbers so far? Try 13-of-15 passing for 156 yards, two touchdowns and no picks. Also, nine carries for 84 yards and two more scores.

I haven't seen a burnt orange-clad quarterback play so well since ... since ... 2005.

UPDATE

Numbers on McCoy with 5:23 left in the third: 17-of-19 passing for 185 yards, three touchdowns and no picks. He's also packed the pigskin nine times for 84 yards and two scores.

And I think it's safe to say his day is done.

That was the most dominant performance by UT over a major college program in a long time.

I can't believe how confident Colt is. He's like Neo from the Matrix. Everything else on the field is in slow motion as he makes perfect play after perfect play.
