Left hander Travis Duke is the new Texas pitcher after the great job by Hollingsworth.
The left handed hitter Munoz is the reason that Duke is in the game with one on and one down.
After a questionable ball call, this time a fastball is called strike three on the outside corner for two down.
Palmer is the last hope for UCI with two down and one on.
The right handed hitting Palmer the runner goes and a fly ball to Shaw in right ends the game.
Texas wins and exacts some sweet revenge on this Anteater bunch. What a job by Hollingsworth again.
Let's enjoy this for a few and be back to talk in a minute.

The Magical Mystery Tour that is this season continues somehow.
Really weird things happening and not happening.
Who would have thought the biggest pitcher in a starting roll in the NCAA playoffs would be Chad Hollingsworth.
No Peters and still the pitching is just outstanding. The offense was sputtering and the one big chance is squelched by another and the biggest base running mistake of many this season.
Payton makes the play of the CWS to save at least one run.
The first home run of the CWS is hit by Texas for only Hinojosa's second of the season. it's the only run of the game.
The curse of the eighth inning was kicking in and then suddenly stopped in it's tracks by Hollingsworth.
The same things happens in the ninth and then Hollingsworth doesn't allow the sac bunt.
Then with no Curtis, Duke comes in and looked unhittable.
If you think too much about all this your head will explode.
It's better to just accept it and keep going till it ends in whatever fashion that may be.

I've really enjoyed LHN post-game coverage during the CWS. It's times like these that make me realize just how fortunate we are to have our own freaking network.
