seriously! what is up with our passing?? this video feed isn't the best quality, but i swear half the time it looks like they are passing it right to the other team.

Our play in the first half can be described as follows: ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. I hope Coach G lights into these girls at the half for all the lazy passes that are making SDS look like a steal machine.

VERY poor passing....but we did shoot 48%...

Good to see Erika get a couple...esp. w/ her "homies" in the crowd!!

Aztec defense had 12 steals, 7 by one player, Morris...

Well, i hope Coach G's new year's resolution doesn't pertain to the team as well.....they NEED some *SS chewing during the half. I never thought i'd see them look so bad...

...but, maybe they get this out of the way before conference games start.

Exactly...let's have a wake-up call NOW, rather than in a month, I say...

Hopefully, they will come out like TEXAS after the half....too much surf n' sun I guess...

interesting stat...both teams ended the half without going into the bonus on fouls. 6 fouls a piece.

definitely not the whistle-happy refs that we are used to seeing. but that's fine with me, because they are doing a nice job of calling it pretty even for both teams.

too bad carla has 2 of our 6 fouls though. we need her in the 2nd half.

This is just craaazy. But, what's a coach to do when every player is out of sync??!! It's gotta really stink!!! There doesn't seem to be a 5 team that's even on the same page for this game!!!

Well we still have some work to do. We simply were outplayed tonight.

Now sidebar - Britt and Erica we need you to get it together. We need your productivity on the court every game. We need you to fight to get open, we need you to fight and make your shots, we need you to fight fight fight and then fight some more. WE NEED YOU!!

Kristen Nash...4 rebounds in 4 min.....the girl hustles, and should be playing more...

AG, gonna be the new queen of swat....

But, we just killed ourselves....we need to correct some things. and I have no doubt this loss will wake up the team...

Their 3's killed us, they beat us in rebounding...

that was depressing. but honestly, they deserved to lose that game with the way they played. gonna be a long trip home from san diego.
 
Long trip on a holiday weekend... Off night early in the season... no big deal. Sometimes it's good to get taken by surprise. Wake up call before B12 play begins. It is still shaping up to be one hell of a season for our Horns.

Okay, i took a while to cool off.

Did we REALLY think this team would go undefeated?? No, but, i had hope that the losses would only come during conference play. As i watched the A&M game earlier i thought that we could out-play, out-sub, out-hustle, and out-score them. I still think that can happen, but only if we play like we have the first 11 games of the season. If we give ANY indication of starting...and continuing a game like we played tonight, it's going to be a long season.

Of course i'm disappointed, but, hopefully this early loss will somehow bring some FIRE and DETERMINATION to the team!!!

Just for fun....how many UNDEFEATED teams have won the National Championship??? Not doing the google thing right now, my guess is.......2.....??????
