Texas vs Pan Am

Texas wins 6-1 despite being outhit 9-5.

Pan Am pitcher's wildness and 4 errors the big difference.

Pan Am stranded runners like we did against Stanford.

Hollingsworth started went 5 innings and gave up the run.

Ty Marlow, Duke, and Knebel finish it off.

Weis drives in 3 three runs with a single and a double.

B. Marlow gets our first homer of the season in the 8th
to right field.

Still not hitting and Pan Am is not a good team and is now
0-29 at the Disch. They haven't beaten Texas since 1971
when they beat Burt Hooten 1-0 to go to Omaha.

Early game. Nice to stop losing streak but this doesnt do much for confidence in future offense.

I was at that game in 1971 with my Dad. It was in San Antonio and some jerk started yelling "Hooten Who?" over and over. I would have punched him but I was only 11 at the time.
