Texas vs OSU game thread.

Worst half since Maryland, or Tulsa, or the 2nd half of the ksu game. Anyway, that was a pathetic half of football.

Totally out coached and out played on both sides of the ball.

Our DBs have played soft coverage all year. Lots of teams have dropped passes and missed balls, but our pass defense is not good. Lot of youth back there and that's part of it, I'm sure. Inconsistent pressure from DL is another part of it. We're an awful defense on third and long, and there's good reason for that.
 
Texas was supposed to run on Okie and cannot. Okie is running all over Texas. Texas cannot cover but Okie can cover Texas. I am thinking this is no fluke. The better team is on top. Texas does not need to play OU again.

Okie knew what they were doing picking Texas for Homecoming.
 
Humphries first drop changed the complexion of this game. Having said that, Orlando has been owned by Gundy. Horns still had chances to get back in the game, but the 3 and out after the stop was unacceptable when we could have grabbed momentum. I’ll keep watching but don’t give this Texas team much chance to come back

We run a 3-4 defense right? I think that only works if you have LT or Von Miller out there as a pass rushing outside linebacker. Also the defensive ends are typically large human beings. What am I missing?

At this point, i’m Just hoping that this is not the beginning of the wheels coming off the season, given the firepower of the teams we will be facing in the next few weeks
 
Buckle up folks, I got a bad feeling about the second half... Horns are down sensing defeat and Okie Lite is energized tasting eventual victory.
 
Surprised Orlando is baffled. I thought he would have us ready after our bye.

I guess the offense is good for at least one delay of game penalty. Herman tradition.
 
One play is not the game. We have MANY one plays that could have turned this game, but basically it’s all of them.
Told my son “at least we won’t be playing OU Sux again”. Might not be them that sucks. Hookem
 
That was weird. I started in on some Malbec, talked a bit to my daughter on FB messenger and was feeling happy then looked up and realized I was watching this cluster. Put me in a sour mood again. The good news is I'm capable of bouncing back. I hope the team can.
 
This is now a gut check. Does this Texas team have what it takes to overcome adversity and complacency? We shall see. I hope TH reamed them at the half. He needed to.
