Texas vs Oklahoma state game thread

I think we will eliminate the mistakes in the 2nd half and pull ahead for the win. Our D played pretty well overall. O will continue to score.

Going for it on 4th down and a weird play call; now this. We can't win like this. What a shame. Plenty of time to put this away but we have no margin for error.

Herman loses two games a year. Not running out the clock before half against LSU gives than a TD. Not taking the FG and having your player catch the punt with 40 section left. Gave O ST 10 points and momentum.

The Mullet is playing the percentages, not going for two, kicking the FGs. We on the other hand take stupid chances that keep OSU in the game & usually come back to bites us in the butt.

How bad was that last sequence before half?
Not only did we give up potential points and give them points, but we might have lost our (arguably) best corner. He should have been on the bench watching our O drive down to spread our lead before half.

I'd field the punt. Chance it can roll inside the 5 was there. Still just too many damn mistakes. Sterns missing the tackle. Dropped punt. Not kicking when you have the wind at your back. 17 pts right there. Just make some damn plays. This is a possession game. We stole 1 and gave 2 away. Makes me want to puke.

On the Big 12 promotional commercial, right when they said “uncompromising values” they showed Baylor cheerleaders. Those f@ckers at conference headquarters have a real sick sense of humor.

Yes. Early in a game, take the points an opponent gives you. Receiving a punt late in a half, signal fare catch then get away. He's too much of a gambler and doesn't have a seasoned D, in particular the secondary to pull of the gambles he takes with the level of experience he has. I like the guy but we're too thin to do what he wants to do every game.
