Texas vs. MSU 11/2/2023

Maul plays with a lot of confidence, and she's been the leader at state championship teams at Cedar Park.

Glad to see her shooting from 3-point land and draining them. I had been wondering who would be our zone busters, and looks like Holle, Gonzales, Maul, and Booker (and maybe Codio) will give us size on the perimeter to shoot over smaller guards/wings.
If we can consistently rely on 4 different players to be zone busters, we will be deadly on offense this year.

I will say a couple of things after watching the game twice. Booker is going to be good frfr. Maul has a nice stroke that is confident and sometimes that’s half the battle she missed her first then let the 2nd go with just as much ump. Codio in her fraction of time showed me ok she can play if she get healthy. She has the look of a long agile defender. Herron has touch out this world. The rumor of her having the best hands of the desoto girls is true in just that lil flash. I think Muhammad is going to give us a lift in some games. This team is deep he will have to go situational early to see who makes the big12 rotation 8-9. Early with the exception of UConn I think we could see 10-11 play when Gatson and Moore return.
Harmon, Shay, Shaylee, Booker, Tay starting
Maul, Jak, Amina, Faye Gatson and Moore
