Texas vs Maryland Game Thread

Play call was fine and I’m glad Sam didn’t try to force anything. He is getting his swag back. He’ll be fine in the 2nd half.

Ok. Deep breath. Down two at half. Lot's of manic-depression. Disappointing that we seem so loose using a NASCAR term. The team doesn't appear to have made a giant leap forward in the off-season. We need the win. At this point that is the goal. It doable. But we can't drop picks. Fall down after catching a wide open ball. Hold when your man hasn't beaten you. Punt for 15 yards. Targeting.

Chance for a fresh start in minutes. Gotta play smart (Sam). The running game looks like the key and I like what I’m seeing from Ingram and Watson.

Perhaps Wheeler will stabilize the D a bit, particularly after loosing Johnson. Think we may have lost # 18 though. Hope Hager is OK. Looked like a cramp.

We do get Wheeler back
His weakness is lateral quickness but he is strong, smart and is practiced at the art of drilling RBs

Anyone else notice that the Bud Light ads have restored the 'Pit of Misery' line just in time for this game? Seemed appropriate to someone's prognostications I guess...

More important question is "why roll Elllenger" and particularly away from Collin? This was one time to try to make the play. INT ain't likely going back.
Why throw the ball out of bounds. Give your receiver a chance to make an outstanding catch. We have the height. Bad play on ehlingers part.

Will we see Shane in the second half? I wouldn't think so to begin the half since Sam has some momentum but maybe later. I'd like to see Shane get some opportunities.
