Texas vs Maryland Game Thread

So, during one of TH's press conferences he said the O was scoring more on the D and that was a good thing since our D was really good.

After viewing this first half of play, I think we know why the O was able to score more on the D.
 
I think I'd put in Boo right here and let Sam get a series to get his head on straight. Right now he looks totally confused. If you're going to play him, you have to take advantage of his feet which we aren't doing at all.
 
Assuming this game stays the way it has been played so far, I want the first question in the post game press conference to be "what the hell were you doing at Houston that hasn't translated to beat a 3-win Power-5 team?"
 
I do not believe Del Conte will let Herman carry these non-performing assistant coaches beyond this year
He has already shown a willingness to put his foot down in areas like this
 
It baffles me what the offensive staff has been doing to get ready for this game. I bet the conversations looked a lot like this:
"Hey remember all that stuff that Charlie tried and never worked, and then we tried it and it didn't work either?"
"Think it'll work next year?"
"Couldn't hurt to try!"

Sorry guys, but I can't keep doing this. Son scored a 55 yr TD on first carry of season this morning. Going for 4th consecutive Super Bowl. Hasn't been done since Cedric Benson. Wanna keep the positive energy flowing. Can't do it watching this product.

We're gonna go eat, make music, ice cream, and movie. :hookem:

Someone made the point the other day - when you take all the joy out of a spectacular effort with a lengthy review where you micro-analyze it for any reason why it's not a catch... that's just not why we watch football.
