Horns will have to regroup as they will likely have only 3 guards against KU Wednesday. It's going to be a tough road trip.
 
Tough to play w/ only 3 guards...but we just can't get a break, and can't really shoot...just very upsetting...

Fifth year so no excuses for this. Sometimes things just do not work out no matter how hard the school and the coach try.
 
No idea why she can't duplicate here what happened at Duke, but this is just pathetic. The problems go way beyond coaching, but they also definitely include coaching.
 
The biggest thing has been her error in having no Texas connections left when she swept the staff away...(except for Cathy Mac, who doesn't count).

She should have kept Travis or Clarissa or both....no Texas Connection = Lower recruiting #'s....a problem she NEVER had at Duke...

Part of it has been the awesome recruiting done in the last few years by Baylor and the Aggies...anyone who got Griner was going to be killing everyone...(I predict they are undefeated this year and win a NC) and we couldn't compete with our recruits, the best of which sat out last year, and is apparently not the same player this year...

I still think she is a good coach, she just didn't really get that she was a Yankee girl hittin' the Southwest's BEST Conference with a HUGE handicap to overcome..
I frankly think any other coach from the North would have accomplished the same, had they not kept the Texas Connection...

By year 5 you are what you are. Even with injuries, there should be enough in reserve to be better than NINTH in the Big 12. Yes, in 2010 the football team finished next to last, but that was after 1 MNC plus another appearence and 10 10 winning seasons - a little different.
 
So is she the Bob Weltlich of UT Women's basketball? That's who she reminds me of from a personality and performance perspective.
