its what the players are supposed to doWow. Hollingsworth, their star player went down and not one Zag player went to help her.
I'm yelling at the TV, "STFU and give us the play by play!!!"Why won’t these announcers just tell us what is happening on the court. Can’t tell who is fouling or what the call is. Driving me crazy.
Someone tell me why didn't Taylor play?
ThanksShe was in concussion protocol after the Alabama game.
Holle, Gonzales and Moore were altogether unreal…on both defense and offense.Good to see Maul getting meaningful minutes.
One of our best stretches in women's hoops.Vic Schaefer = Elite Eight 3 out of 4 seasons
LOL, she needs to get back to her other hairstyle!Gaston didn't do much, either. Glad Texas has the players to compensate!
This aged about as well as most of your posts. It's going to be Gonzaga vs NC State.
As a geezer horn who has lived all over this country, may I assure you that a significant percentage of Americans today hate the State of Texas and therefore by association, also hate The University of Texas, whether they no anything about our University or not.Wow at Gonzaga’s press conference their players refused to give credit to Texas one bit and kept saying they took themselves out of the game. Their coach basically did the same only a little more subtly. Watch it and contrast it with Currie and Alabama’s PC.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything quite like that and I sure don’t have any respect for how they handled it.
So when Vic says they don’t get respect and have an edge, this is exhibit A
Even the camera work was the pits. Little to no replays and camera change ups. And the sound was also crazy. I could barely hear the refs whistles but I could hear Vic yelling at Amo like he was in my living room. And the whole time the announcers might as well have been talking about the weather for all they were worth. And normally I like both of them. It was very odd and very frustrating.I'm yelling at the TV, "STFU and give us the play by play!!!"
It’s no wonder the players couldn’t muster any sportsmanship because their coach couldn’t even say Congrats to Texas, or well coached team ….nothing. I guarantee you’ll never see Vic Schaefer act that way even in the most crushing loss he will congratulate the winning team and compliment them for the things they did well to win.Great win Horn Fans.
No excuses. You sped the Zags up to the point that they could not even hit the few wide-open shots they did have. Ole Miss did the same thing last year to the Zags in the first round and the result was eerily similar.
Like I said in the earlier post, for the Zags to have a chance to win they had to score more than 70 points. Vic and your team ensured that did not happen, hence to chance to win for the Zags tonight.
Don't take the press conference too hard, the Zag team and coaching staff knew they were out-classed tonight. The Zags are a bunch of 3*s that have gotten through were they are by hard work, 5 years of development and great teamwork. Sometimes, all of that is not good enough, when a much taller, more athletic team comes into town. They needed a game like they played against Stanford or Utah to win, and your defense made sure that did not happen. I think the entire team is suitably embarrassed by their performance tonight and that was reflected in their press conference tonight.
Good luck Horns, in the rest of the tournament.

Could you EVER be more wrong? It's going to be Gonzaga vs NC State.
We have far better athletes than those typically found in the WCC. We are far more capable of hounding their three point shooters while limiting damage from the one girl in the middle who could play.Never expected such a dominant performance, a shining example of how Vic's defense can wear down a team. Doubt that Gonzaga has ever clanged so many bricks or thrown up so many airballs.
You represent your school well sir. I know that there were hurt feelings and what we expect to hear is overridden by emotion. Thanks for coming by to visit and interact with us.Great win Horn Fans.
