Texas vs Georgia Thread

Great link. Does this mean y'all don't need the updates or do you want them to continue? Either way is fine with me.

We are serving for the match on 2 and GA is serving for it on 1. Commercials.
 
Texas wins the match and the doubles point. Texas up 1-0 with the singles matches to come. If we split singles, we're the champs.

I think it was a mistake, I am sure of it. They showed Texas' Corrie over GA's Flores by the same 8-3 score as the Helgeson match. But they are all cleared out at zero.
 
OK, I just turned it on. Let me get this straight: matches are one set, but the sets are to 8 games? There were already 3 doubles matches, but only one team point is awarded? Now there are 6 singles matches and each one gives the teams a point? Is that all correct?
 
Taking 2 of 3 doubles match awards a point. Each of 6 singles matches awards a point.

Corrie is getting blown out by UGA's Flores. UGA's Hegelson is 2-2 with the serve at #1 singles.
 
No, 2 of 3 or 3 of 3 doubles matches is the same -- 1 point. I don't know if they complete the third match if the first two go to one school. There would be no need.
 
Only the doubles matches are 8-game pro sets. The singles matches are regular, 2 out of 3 six game sets.

Kutrovsky just broke Helgeson, and line 6 is back on serve. We're getting blown out at lines 4 and 5, and down 1 break at lines 2 & 3.
