But the clock was still running and they had no timeouts we stopped it gave them a chance to set up a playcourse if we don't call TO, aren't lined up and they score, they would be saying. Why didn't Charlie call TO when he had one left.
This has been the problem since Charlie got here. Whole team has never been after it. Players here and there, but never the whole team.hill looks like he could care less right now that is what you don't need on the field right now
Guys- the D was not set, thus the TO was the right call for UT.But the clock was still running and they had no timeouts we stopped it gave them a chance to set up a play
When the play is on the endzone sideline or back line of the endzone the receiver has nowhere to run. Turn and play the ball.Somebody coach me up here.
DBs are coached to keep their eyes on the receiver as they go downfield. But once you get into the end zone wouldn't it make sense to turn around? I understand the play could break up and the receiver could run away from you, but in most cases the ball is in the air when you get to the EZ.

With the clock ticking I take my chances they are under pressure as well with the time counting down but coming off a timeout they have a better opportunity to dial up something. Double edged sword I guess you can say they still scored

LBs dropped way too deep. Like in 30 yds. If you are playing zone, someone has to stay short of the 1st down marker. That is the problem right there. 14 seconds left in the half, baylor has no timeouts and our coaches are trying to run people on and off the field resulting in a timeout by us giving Baylor a chance to regroup and resulting in a touchdown. This is what leads to 14-18, that and giving up a third and 12 on a 30 yard qb run where he runs 30 yards before meeting a defender.
