Texas vs Baylor, game 2

I agree with Aston: "There are no more moral victories here." Moral victories can never be the Texas standard. My hope is that this game will be the game that turns around a season that's quickly slipping away and that they'll bring this passion, fight and level of play from here on out.

WCBBNUT, I agree that was the wrong read and that the ball should have gone to one of those three players you mentioned. Unfortunately, it was the one she made with time running down. My train of thought on that is it is easier to see open players from the seats than on the floor surrounded by opponents. I think she penetrated too far and was unable to see another option besides taking the shot. Not a good option considering Davis and another 6-4 player were on top of her. Also, from what both Coach Aston and Brady said, Baylor took away the primary option (Ariel) and Brooke had to improvise.

As a fan, I really would like to see Texas play Baylor in the Big 12 tournament.

I must say that my overall feeling after the game was how impressed I was with the effort and grit that the girls showed yesterday. I cant tell you how fine the line is between packing it in and going on auto pilot through the rest of the year is for a team that didnt meet expectations. And by all accounts from the last game thats not the team that I saw yesterday. I think that if they can carry on that momentum then our post season play might end up where we thought all along. I honestly never thought we'd win the b12 this year anyway but I thought we'd be better than we had been thus far. Honestly theres not a single game that we should drop going into the b12 tournament and if we can do that we'll be hosting the first and second rounds likely on to the sweet 16. #HornsUp #DontPackItInJustYet

Babhorn. You are correct. It is easy for me to call the shot from my seat. Truth is, I am just so ready for the pay off I can't stand it. I want to see these girls and this program finally back on top. Close games just make it all the more frustrating. But I wouldn't want to be a fan of any other team. Very proud (even when frustrated) of our Horns.
So let's go kick some OSU butt!
