Yes, as of today, we are around 210th in the country in hitting, with 0.260 average, around 180th in the country in HR/game with 0.29, and around 185th in the country with a 0.348 OBP.

And we are 8th in the nation and leading Big12 in ERA with 0.245.

Didn't they change the bats 3 years ago? Maybe the bats were weakened too much for the college game and our guys can't hit with RISP is all I am saying.

Yes, ERAs are down and batting/power is down all around. Comparing numbers from 4 or 5 years back would be misleading. That is why I posted where we stand, in relative terms, in the country. Terrible, whichever way we look at it.
