Texas vs aggy Last Night

So talking to an aggy buddy this morning, he tells me that Texas won because of the ump's strike zone favored us. He also said that the Texas players were taunting aggy with swear words. I asked if he was there and he said no but he he is hearing too many aggy on texags stating this was the case.

I watched the game on TV last night and the strike zone was pretty consistent. I didn't see or hear anything on TV that would lead me to believe the other part. Would someone who went verify if that was the case or just aggy being aggy?

If it was on Texags, it must have been true.

Even though I sat the whole game right next to the aggy dugout and heard nary a word.

Aggy morons never cease. I can't recall losing a baseball game by 7 runs or more and claiming we lost for any other reason than we got our *** beat, period. How did the 3 Ag errors and allowing a run on a wild pitch figure into their conspiracy theory? Did God make the wind blow harder when they were in the field to force poor defense?

They better worry about Jorge Mason and stud pitcher Montefusco booting their *** today. Guy has a 1.96 ERA in 101 innings...81 K's, 14 BB's, 0 HR's. He's their ace, and their #2 was shutting Rice out for much of last night. Might wanna focus on that instead of making excuses for getting crushed by their Daddy.

I wouldn't call that guys strike zone "consistent". There were a number of pitches on the plate at the knees that were not called strikes, that were thrown by Longhorns. As to whether or not you would get the strike call just off the plate, I think it went like this: if it's strike three then you were likely to get rung up, otherwise it was a ball. Longhorns got rung up as much or more than aggy, though.

Taunting with swear words?!?!? Say it aint so! We should probably forfeit.

I'm just glad the play at the plate didn't make any difference otherwise we would NEVER hear the end of it.

Umpires you have never seen before with a different strike zone, imagine that.

The score was 8-1 and they made three errors plus several wild pitches, yet the difference was the strike zone.

Swear words are intimidating? Did you ever have a football coach or even other coaches. If swear words were all that intimidating nobody would ever play sports. Those post game meetings with Augie would scare off all our players.

Does Aggy ever just lose a game without some kind of stupid saying or an excuse?

Any Ag that is surprised by this loss is a fool. Childress struggles against Texas and we aren't very good.

Gambling at Rick's and Bushwood? Swear words in a sporting contest? Umpires with inconsistent strike zones?

Seriously, I saw most of the game and the aggy errors and wild pitches did far more to contribute to their 8-1 loss to Daddy UT than the umpires.
