This looked like a much better game. 55% shooting from the field (LOTS of layups), 11 turnovers and TWENTY EIGHT ASSISTS! Carla only scored 2 pts on 1 of 5 shooting, but she had TWELVE assists and NO turnovers - I'll take it.

Ashley Lindsay looked much better tonight. Everyone looked crisper and some of the offensive sets were beautiful!!! The freshmen looked good again. Ashleigh and Yvonne, that is - AG didn't play - resting a sore ankle, I think. We'll need her tonight against ODU's BIGS.

Ashley LIndsay, Erika, Brittany, Kat, and Yvonne all in double figures. It was a fun game - fun to watch - this team looks like they are having a great time playing ball this year.

Did Ashley Gayle play? Didn't see any stats on her.

No, she did not play. I mentioned in my post above that all freshman except AG (Ashley Gayle) played. I'm ASSUMING (which can get you in trouble) that they were resting her sore ankle. I know she'll be needed tonight against ODU as they have a BIG WIDE center that will need a big body on her. For us, that's Aubry and Ashley Gayle (not so much Ashley Lindsay). Ashley Gayle was dressed out last night - so I'm assuming her ankle injury is not bad (especially since she played in the game after she injured it) and that they COULD have played her but were just resting her to be better able to play more minutes tonight.

This is, however, purely speculation.
