Workman goes to 12-1. He threw something approaching 130 pitches so he is done for weekend but did his job getting Texas to winners bracket with top two pitchers still to pitch.

Horns get 47th win on season and will play ULaLa tomorrow at 6:30 p.m. in winners bracket. Rider plays Rice tomorrow at 1:00 in losers bracket elimination game.

Nice effort for Horns tonight to end that three game losing streak from OKC.

Great effort from Workman! Didn't watch the game, but reading the updates, it seems like he fought hard and battled through some control problems.

Some might say, "It's just Rider," but any win in the postseason is huge, so a complete-game shutout deserves major accolades.

Nice to see our 'Horns shake off the stigma of last weekend and come through with a slew of timely hits. Keep it goin', guys!
