After much despair earlier in the day I have come to the conclusion we need to not sweat this one too much, Augie puts no stock in this tournament and hopefully neither does the tournament selection committee. The Horns need to win a game or two to clinch certainty in terms of national seeding but even two and Q likely still means a national seed and that is more important than an essentially meaningless tourny that just uses up pitchers.

I agree with FW. Augie doesn't give a crap about this tourney. I don't think it makes a lick of a difference in where we end up. Plus didnt we loose the opening game to the tourney in 02?

I hope Augie does not use a top three arm tomorrow, and if we lose, then get back to Austin and get some batting practice in,and give the kids some free time to goof off. We don't need to be top 8, just top 10-12 to host a regional. Hell, #1 Virginia was swept by UNC last weekend.
