There were a lot of “just not our days”. UT didn’t have the bullpen or starters to pull them through the CWS especially in the losers bracket. This was evident in conference play. They had just enough magic to pull themselves through the supers. Maybe some magic can happen if Aggie puts in the wrong pitcher.

1) Not developed to potential?

2) Not used properly?

3) Left hanging in games so the confidence went to hell?

What fixes this problem? New pitching coach? New HC? Team shrink? Better prognosticators?

Also lost Madden, Quintanilla - good innings, depth in ‘21

The “closer” has a bad season too.
