I'll be listening to the audio broadcast and monitoring GameTracker, but, regrettably, I won't have a video feed, so if anyone is actually watching today's game on TV and would like to share some observations, they'd be greatly appreciated.

Torres leads off and grounds out on an 0-2 pitch. One down.

Tucker lines the first pitch he sees into right field for a single. One on, one out.

Belt works the count full before striking out. Tucker runs on the pitch and is thrown out at second for an unofficial double play of sorts.

After their regional performances, someone hand East Carolina and Louisville the "We're just happy to be here" awards for the 2009 Super Regionals.

Steglich grounds out to second. One down.

Featherston balloons one to left field that falls in for a single. One on, one gone.

Carpenter flies out to center. Two away.

Vern taps a grounder to second. Tucker scoops it up and makes the throw for out No.3.

To the top of the 2nd ...

You rule, EuroHorn.

Unfortunately, I can't watch full screen and update at the same time, so I'm going to have to suspend updates for now. I'll check in between innings if no one else takes the mantle.

A fastball at the knees sits down Keyes for out No.1.

Loy grounds to his TCU counterpart at short, but the throw is high. E6. One on, one out.

Clark lifts one to deep right but it's caught for out No.2.

Rupp grounds out meekly to short to end the inning.

To the bottom of the 2nd ...

The Horny Toads go quietly and quickly in the bottom of the second: 1-2-3 on grounders to pitcher and short and a fly ball to right.

To the top of the 3rd ...

Another quick inning for the Texas bats.

Rowe swings at a ball a full foot wide of the zone for strike three and out No.1.

Hernandez grounds to short. Two away.

And Torres flies out to center.

move your cursor around the screen image of the link. the video selection there may be off and you have to turn it up. I think the default is often mute.

Another 1-2-3 inning for the Christians from Fort Worth.

Green freezes the first two batters with breaking balls for called strikes. The third hitter bunts back to Cole, who barehands the ball and throws to Belt for out No.3.

Cole seems to be using the breaking ball 75 percent of the time. He's rainbowing them in there and working around the plate with precision.

It's 1-2-3 again for Texas in the top of the 4th.

Tucker flies out to center. Belt with another K, his second of the day. And Keyes gets jammed up and pops one that just gets out of the infield but the second baseman runs down for out No.2.

Our 'Horns are more like cows so far today at the plate.

To the bottom of the 4th ...

Featherston rips one past Torres and into left field for a leadoff single.

Carpenter jumps on the first pitch and flies to left for out No.1. Runner remains at first.

Vern pounds one for an opposite-field home run over Kevin Keyes and the right-field wall. TCU draws first blood, 2-0.

Holaday lines a gapper to center. One on, one out. Suddenly, the Horned Frogs are getting patient and waiting on Green's off-speed stuff.

Ellington grounds into a 4-6-3 double play and Texas gets out of the inning, but not before surrendering two runs and the lead.

To the top of the 5th, with TCU leading, 2-0 ...

Yet another quiet inning for UT.

Loy leads off with a short fly ball to right. One away.

Clark grounds out to second for out No.2.

Rupp's grounder up the gut and off Gerrish squirts through the infield for a two-out single.

Rowe rolls one to third, who scoops it up and makes the throw to first for out No.3.

To the bottom of the 5th ...

TCU goes four up, three down in the bottom of the fifth.

The inning starts with a lineout to Tucker, a well-hit ball to Hernandez, and then a two-out single to short, but a pitch out and a great throw from Rupp catches Schultz trying to steal second for out No.3.

To the top of the 6th, with TCU up, 2-0 ...

TCU's bats are really catching up to Cole. He's getting hit hard. With the top of the TCU order due up in the bottom of the 6th, I'd be tempted to go with someone else. Very much doubt that'll happen, though.
