Is anybody concerned about the early exists for the softball team?

How in the world did we let this happen again??

Recruits have got to notice this and make them think about going somewhere else!

I am concerned. Texas is suddenly average? Not a position the University should be in, especially after being a Leader in many sports for so long!!!!
 
This was a collapse of EPIC proportions. #3 national seed bounced on your home field with losses to Houston and LaLa? What a joke.

I thought this team could hit, but obviously I was wrong. When the chips were down, they faceplanted once again.

I think it is time to closely examine whether Clark is the right coach for UT softball. At some point, there has to be some accountability for continuous postseason failure, right?

For some reason, "Coach Cat" has a nice ring to it.

I think it is pretty apparent that seriously vying for national championships is the goal of a "selected few" or UT's athletic programs. A shame.
 
I noticed that Univ.of Texas, sometimes hold their Coachs too long. Instead of just letting them go.Now I like the Asst.Coaches.But I proably would get a new head coach.

Troll??? Haha!!! No. 3 team in the nation and gets booted from their own field.....

We wasted 4 years of Cats college years, we are on pace to waste Lunas and foxs too!!!
 
Why do we have to drive all the way into the ditch before we actually try to right a program? It is Woman's Swimming all over again. Plonsky, take a break from counting all the money, and hire a coach. A&M athletics are in the red and somehow they need extra trophy space. Go figure.
 
No doubt that our softball program is mediocre, but, to be honest, there are a number of UT athletic programs that are on the downside. Our problem right now is we are great at doing a classic fold in a number of sports. I'm beginning to think the softball and women's basketball programs are utterly hopeless.
 
No focusness anywhere - to busy counting the money. Unfortunately, if your product sucks sooner or later recruits will quit buying it.
 
I just have never thought Clark was the answer...and year in and year out she keeps proving me right.

I do like their hitting coach though, and definitely an upgrade with the ex-A&M assistant.....great hires.

They are still young, losing their absolute best hitter hurts a team without depth.

I just hope they don't wait until another Olympic Caliber pitcher leaves or graduates before the ship is righted.

Judging by our poor performance at the Big-12 baseball tournament today, we may just have to start thinking about adding baseball to that list.
