Amazing save by our Libero but it went for naught. tied up.

I cannot imagine actually being there. We took it away from Hodge, Tx up by one on serve.

Now tied up again.

During this time out the Deuce is showing their prepped homage to Penn State as expected. I mean, they are amazing and about to accomplish something great.

Let's do this Texas....time out horn just came on....
 
Hodge with a kill, to Destinee who had to go to her knees to get it. It deflects out of bounds and Penn State wins their third title in a row. Congratulations to a Nittany Lion team who refused to give up and pull this out.

Congratulations to the Longhorns who gave this team more than they likely bargained for and made them earn each and every single point. I am so proud of them and you are too!
 
This one really hurts, worse than last year because this year Texas really was the best team but just couldnt get the huge points in sets 3 4 or 5 to put them away. There is a reason PSU is on a 102 game streak and these last three sets show it, they are just mentally so tough and keep that pressure on you.

Fantastic year for the gazelles, hate to see Hooker not go out winning this last game, she has been legendary during her time on campus.

Anything but lame. A great volleyball match between two great teams. Texas had chances it failed to convert but played a great season.
 
Well shucks! Great effort by our Ladies and a great match by two great teams. We just made too many service errors and couldn't get enough points on the serves and PSU did. Great season Lady Horns. It would have been nice to have won and got closer to the 50s in NCs but PSU was just a little big tough. All the matches were tough. Too bad for the seniors though.
