38-20 at half, OU would need a really huge second half to come back.

And probably with their backup QB. Look for us to load more into the box.

I think getting 3 there was more of a "let's not turn it over and at least match what they did on the prior drive" call. Everyone loves TDs but had we turned it over and given up points (like OU has for the difference in this game), then it'd be 35-27 with them starting with the ball.

I guess he was thinking ou can't outscore us by 18 in the 2nd half with a b/u QB, we'll see.

Just calling a time out would've given Texas 2-3 more plays. I agree before the long pass to Worthy, but after that it's crazy not to try for a TD.

That obviously was the game plan to begin the game but even when OU is loading the box and we run, BJ is still getting his yards. He only has 10 carries and is averaging 10.9 a carry...unbelievable.

I’m noticing jersey numbers on Defense that are new to me. 43 and 49 in particular. I’m also not seeing Coburn and Ojomo as much as I expected. Perhaps I just missed them.

We need to lean on them in second half. Shorten the game and limit possessions. But still take the aggressive plays when there.

We’ve got the best offensive game day coach on the 40 since Mackovic,* and some want to “piss” on him…

The shorter this game becomes and we have at least a 2 score lead...the more one dimensional OU becomes which makes it easier for a D coordinator to call his plays.

The problem is our o-line. He didn't want to take a sack. I believe that is our biggest problem right now (pass blocking). He put points in the bank with the three.

The OL scares me the most, but Dicker kicking a 38 yd FG scares me too.
