Texas-OU Game Thread

Our talent is really lacking. For every solid talented guy, we seem to have 2 that can’t find their own but with both hands in a rain storm.
 
If we can't defend moon balls thrown desperately into the ozone, that's not on the DC. That's on our pitiful athletes. Some guys make plays. Some guys allow plays. Guess which ones we have on D?

No one takes Texas seriously anymore. Hell, I don't.
 
Got to give oklahoma credit. They played lights out in the 2nd half.
They changed QBs. We would have won easily if rattler stayed in.
They made a lot of big plays.
Brooks 217 yards.
We didn't deserve to win.
 
We were just out-talented today. These coaches can just do so much with what they have. I hate losing, but I really didn't expect us to stay within 7 today. If this coaching staff is intact in 2-3 yrs and this happens? Well...
 
Words escape me. Sick to my stomach. To finally come out and play like we mean it and then just piss it away. This on Defense and O line. Couldn’t protect and we are cursed on deep balls. Desperate moon shots thrown off balance and can’t do anything about it.
 
Not only did we lose, we’ve probably given blowu the momentum they’ve been lacking this season. I’ll bet they go undefeated and roll into the playoffs again.
 
This is all Lincoln Riley. He knows how to run an offense and exploit a defense. Even when his D is not very good and gives up points, he will find a way to outscore you.

HIs team was down early but they never quit being aggressive. We could learn from that.
 
Can't expect the secondary to make plays when there is no pressure on the qb. And when there is, they let him escape and make backyard fb plays. There was a whole lot of flag football out there today, especially in the 2nd half. No tackling whatsoever.

This loss in on the staff for not having the team ready to play a complete game.

Some starting to sound like aggy. Wait until this staff gets there players in.
You had better coach up the ones you have now. Oh maybe sub for some of those slow and tired DL personnel now and then. I'm even for some fake fall down injuries to stop play if need be. Everybody does it!

Somebody pass the tylenol!!!
 
Yes he was off after that. Couldn’t stay on the field. Prolly a jammed thumb. He’ll be fine, but it hurt to throw. He was not the same passer after that.

Whatever. Texas sucks, always has sucked, and will continue to suck in the SEC and against OU. That's a fact.

This was an abomination being up by that much and losing. F them. Losers.

Well, I didn't expect to win this game but felt we could.
We probably should have but we aren't there yet.
Helluva game.
Just a crappy second half.
Too bad they didn't leave Rattler in.
OU also had two drives that shouldn't have existed due to uncalled receiver running out of bounds and fumble by QB.
Tale of two halves and they were one TD better.
We'll get there.
