TFB on Sam --

" .... It sounds like things are progressing well with Ehlinger’s shoulder and that he’ll start vs Oklahoma State. Obviously, we likely won’t see him carry the ball as much or lower the shoulder on many opposing linebackers for a while. But Ehlinger is the leader of this team, and what a ride he’s taken us all on so far during the 2018 season."

One thing I left out of the stats above is that OSU leads the nation in sacks
DE Jordan Brailford is #3 in sacks nationally with 8
They will challenge our OTs

Another interesting match-up -- we have Texas has not allowed a 100-yard rusher this season. No RB has even topped 80 yards against us (Kyler Murray had 92y). We have the 31st-rated run defense and RBs average just 3.6 ypc.

But Justice Hill tears us up. In 2 career games, he is averaging 126 yards rushing. This season, he is averaging 6.1 yards per attempt

The leading rusher in the B12 is KSU's Alex Barnes who we held to 80y

Anthony Cook and Kobe Boyce are your starters at CB
If we win coin flip, we take the ball, right?

Will be interesting to see what Orlando will do if they outplay the usual starers who are eligible to play in the 2Q. From my perspective, it seems like he will stick with the veterans even if they are under performing. He did it last season at LB and DE, and this year again at LB and arguably CB.

I think the conventional thinking and "binder" strategy is to defer and get the ball in the second half. I don't see TH as a coach who will send a signal to the guys starting that he has no confidence in them and would try to milk the clock the first quarter.

LJ Humphrey was also late to a "team function" and will miss at least the first series against OSU

Sounds like it might not be the entire 1Q for any of them, but the entire first series. We will see

But Josh Moore is definitely out with a “severe shoulder sprain"
