Texas - Kentucky Game Thread

I'm a QE sympathist. I think he's the leader of the offense and Coach sees him fighting through injuries and I think Coach thinks that's good for the culture. While I think Coach/NIL money want him to go into the draft this year so it can be Arch's turn, QE is battling. The team sees it and coach likes it.

Right here. I try not to get on the game threads live, because they turn in to overwrought emotional crapfests, and it takes away from my enjoyment of the actual, you know, game.
I'm with you SN. Sometimes I will check into the game thread when the game starts, but a very short time after kickoff, I close my laptop and concentrate on the game. Then I'll come check in after the game and view the postgame posts.

Did Ethan Burke play at all? He was huge at the beginning of the season. Has he been squeezed out by Simmons? He's someone that still made noise but I don't recall seeing much of him this last game

I’m not sure there’s anything mild about an ankle sprain but here’s hoping that QE is good to go Saturday.

He was on the questionable list 2 games ago so maybe a little dinged up.

I don't think I had anything bad to say about him. I was just curious. Most, if not all, of the people who feel it is okay to criticize fellow posters for offering opinions and critiques of big time football players were oddly silent Saturday.

Any who...

I like QE fine and I do not want Arch to replace him this season. However, let's be honest, he is comically bad at the long ball.

It was y understanding that he was hurt, but I'm reasonably sure he played some; in fact, I think he was or should have been called for an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty for piling on - from my angle it looked more like a swan dive than piling on.
