Yes she will. Pretty good act she puts on. Is that to distract the opponent or motivate her team. I wonder how many times she’ll be accosting the referees when things aren’t going her way? Maybe the term accosting is too harsh. Y’all know what I mean.

It’s neither in my opinion. She does it because it’s who she is - trash. Winning is everything to her which makes her a great coach. It’s also what makes her a terrible person. When you read about her, she is estranged from her family and many of her past players. It still blows my mind that she had to leave Baylor before that institution would honor their greatest female athlete to date - Brittany Griner. She excused rape during the Baylor football scandal , promoted violence when pressed about it, couldn’t find a kind word to offer Griner when she was held prisoner by Russia, told reporters she didn’t care if they got COVID because she wouldn’t wear a mask, blames refs or accuses other coaches of foul play more than anyone else in the game… the list goes on.

Maybe this post is an overreaction, but I will never forget Mulkey trash talking young women wearing the burnt orange during a game and then continuing in the handshake line after a Baylor blowout.

A friend told me that we would all have liked her if she was wining championships at Texas. My response - she wouldn’t have lasted at Texas.

Has she been good for the game? Maybe. But I’ll take a Pat Summit, a Jody Conradt, a Tara VanDerveer, even an Geno over a Sulkey Mulkey any day.
