Hey - a brainstorm.

Why don't we have @LonghornCatholic start a fake KU game thread at 2 PM Sat. - we can pretend there is a real game.

We can make up great drives / plays, run up the score on KU, get pissed off about stupid penalties, moan about Dicker missed easy FG, make fun of Herman on the sideline, discuss lack of halftime adjustments, cuss the refs & TV announcers, speculate about TH future, etc.

You know... the usual crap we do on a game thread.

You don't know how good that virus really is...that is a really, really persistent thing. You think you are better, you worked and schemed but it just gets through the gaps.

I'm disappointed. I wanted to see if last week's enthusiasm and energy was going to be duplicated. We looked like a team that was relieved, like we just got rid of a bad relationship. The conspiracy theorist in me couldn't help but wonder if either Cosmi or particularly Sterns had poisoned the locker room and the players were glad to be rid of them. (This is more directed at Sterns because of some of his past comments.)
