If you need 4 yards for a FD and have the best slot receiver in the country, why are you throwing downfield?

They blew a golden opportunity.
 
It was a back side pass, the only way the receiver would have had a chance--he was covered, but if he sees it in time, he can cut back and catch it, but if not, it's out of bounds. Not "wtf?"
 
We have no plan with our routes to counter a blitz. Do we even have hot routes? Sure doesn’t look like it. Wish we had a pistol or I formation we could get into because we need to run right at them. The slow zone read will not work.
 
Purdy is having a good game. Of course he is calling the right plays. ISU O line is pushing our D line around.
 
They force the defense to show our coaches looks so we can adjust the rest of the game. That’s why we pass more on opening drives and seem to start so slow.
 
Horns have no answer. Purdy is seeing the field and putting the ball where it needs to be. ISU Offense is built for deception and quick reads

Our offense doesn’t dictate anything. Don’t force the defense to move, account for misdirection. We tell them what e are going to do and then just do it. Oh well we are what we are. Basically a .500 team.
