TEXAS-IOWA STATE Game Thread 2023

Intentional grounding?? On an 30 yard throw to the end zone? Our receiver was in the end zone. Resetting game clock to 7 seconds left in the half.

WR was 20 yards from where the ball landed. Obviously a blown route. Actually have seen this call 2 other times today.

We've got to get it under our pace and control in the 2nd half. Show just a little no huddle. Stop the nonsensical penalties.

Yes!! Career kick for Bert Auburn, and Texas takes a 3 point lead to the half.

Good end to the half, but this game is much closer than it should be.

We need Coach Wally Rig of the Texas State Armadillos to give his halftime speech to the Horns. For those not familiar, google it. It’s some good stuff :yippee:

Ok, we won the first half as usual.

We really did move the ball against them and cost us points due to our own mistakes.

Maybe the opposite will happen in the second half from our previous four games and we tear it up offensively. I like our D and I still don't believe that ISU can just drive at will regardless if they throw slants the rest of the game.

2 calls taking 2 TDs off and a fumble by our best player. All said and done D is playing well. The slants are frustrating but they haven’t converted on a 3rd down

Amazing that Texas is leading at half. RB’s running well. Could have been 20-3 and we would be sweating the 2nd half. Now we need to keep driving.

God thing there is replay review to overturn blatant bad calls are we might be down by 20. Yormark is probably having a serious discussion with the replay booth right now.
