Fifty years ago I went to Falls City to watch Poth destroy them. Poth had two fast backs and beat Pettus 77-0. Poth went up by around 40 points and we heard a gunshot. Some fan tired of the slaughter shot the transformer that supplied juice for the stadium. Game called. I think that was the least points scored by Poth until the playoffs. Go Falls City!!!

High school football in Texas: Lubbock Christian University changed the time of a women’s basketball game so that the sister of Stratford’s running back could attend the game today. LCU won back to back Div III national titles in March of this year btw

And,….It wasn’t Odessa Permian in the Finals against Dallas Carter,….( like the movie) = it was San Antonio.Judson! ( great team) . I played against Dallas Carter, they were Thugs!…..but they were INCREDIBLE!
