Texas-Georgia Sugar Bowl Game Thread

Similar to the ou game in Dallas I didn’t think we could hang, especially on defense. Glad I was mega wrong and wow we’ve won a New Years six bowl in year 2 of the rebuild. Extra proud of our gritty team today.
 
this was by far the best game of the season for the Horns. Sam was terrific, O line was really good, defense played great for 3 1/2 quarters.

I predicted the Horns would need all the breaks and lots of luck to win. I was wrong. The Horns made their breaks and luck with lights out tough play, efficient play calling and focused adhering to assignments and avoiding stupid penalties (except for the last minute of the game0. They simply outplayed Georgia in every facet of the game.

Congrats Horns on a great win.
 
Best thing about this win is that it was no fluke, won on trick plays or bad calls by the officials. They just went head to head with the talking heads second or third best team and played better beating them straight up. Hey Bru McCoy you see that!!
 
Honestly I thought we didn’t have very high odds of winning this one. But the game wasn’t as close as the score indicated—the Horns just straight up outplayed Georgia all the way. The program really needed a win like this.
 
Watching Sam cry there. Who says big men don't cry. I was telling my kids he can make all those guys miss because he's got thunder thighs. Should be his nickname.
 
Dominating performance all night long. :hookem:

Biggest win in decade and springboard to getting this program where it needs to be year in and year out.
