The Horns head to West Virginia for a three game set as they look to try and get at least a top three finish in the Big XII and maybe a shot at a regional host. The Horns have yet to win a true road series this year and will have to do something now as a truly promising season has not lived up to expectations. Texas' starting lineup is in flux too as no pitchers have been announced for Saturday or Sunday and it wouldn't shock me at all if Saturday is Gordon and Sunday is someone other than Stevens but we shall see. Games are Friday at 5:30 p.m. CT; Saturday at 3 p.m. CT; and Sunday at 12 p.m. CT, all on ESPN+.

PROBABLE PITCHING MATCHUPS

SATURDAY–Texas TBA vs. WVU TBA
SUNDAY–Texas TBA vs. WVU TBA

How about these 3 starters:

Hansen
Gordon
Harrison

They’d have a combined ERA around 3.00.

Tristan can be first man out of the pen.

The purpose of Texas Baseball is to win games, not to prop up guys for the MLB draft. Perform well, either starting or in relief, and scouts will take notice.

Chop - exactly the starters I was thinking. Harrison deserves a shot as a starter. Gordon pitched very well vs. Okie Lite last Sunday.

Chop,

Everyone is bundled up like a blue norther came through Amarillo, then that kind walks down to his seat behind home plate in shorts & a t-shirt.

Early on, the camera work looks better than a lot of what we’ve seen from ESPN+

6721,

The audio from TexasSports works for me. I'm watching on ESPN+, but checked audio after reading your post. First choice on site is softball, so you have to click on baseball, but it's loud and clear.

I’m watching it on ESPN+. The announcers aren’t as good as ours, but I’m very visual.

Beginning to think someone needs to thaw out our bats. Looking like they are frozen and too heavy to swing

Yeah!!!!

Great catch at the fence by Campbell. And we get it back to first to get a double play!

6721,

The good news is that you were able to reel it in. The bad news is that it took my "electronic expertise" to help you. That's much like having Stevie Wonder drive your Formula 1 race car to victory.

God did not have me in mind when He invented electronics.

What a play by Messinger!

Saved a double or triple and gunned it in the air, on a jump, going the other way for the third out!
