Alright!! 65-50 Horns!! Great win!! Great D with some good O in the second half!! We got scoring from just about everyone and limited OU to pretty much CP. Now this team is the one that has peeked out at us from time to time.

. i know i shouldn't get ahead of myself but i can't see this squad losing to tech at home after taking out the sooners on the road. a victory against tech and a first round win in the big12 tourney and we will be in. great job horns.
 
That was stunning. I liked Coach G already, of course, but now I am a complete convert. That defense was amazing. This should give us great confidence for the next game and the Big 12 tourney.

I'm watching the game - didn't get to watch it live - so I can stop/start to my hearts content. I just absolutely love some of the offensive plays we run. I just watched Rachel set two screens to get Kat open for a three (which she swished, by the way)!

I can hardly wait to get Erika back next year. That poor girl ran her legs off trying to get open last year and the year before. With the new offensive sets, we should be able to get her open whenever we need that critical THREE!

Oh. Don't get me wrong. I hope we beat Tech and then sweep the B12 Tournament...but back to the point. With the win against OU we have beaten 5 Top 25 teams, and that should put us well inside the bubble. A win against Tech means we stay there. A loss against Tech means we are back ON the bubble but could still get in depending on the final few games of some of the other bubble teams like Kentucky, Purdue andFlorida.

Had we won against A&M, the OU win would have made it a lock regardless of the remaining games. The win against OU saved our a*s. A win against Tech seals the deal. ALL THAT SAID - it all boils down to the fact that we have a very, very good chance of being back at the dance this year.

And we could have very easily and should have beaten both Baylor (there) and KSU in Austin! Oh and not to mention Tech, Colorado.........

There is no understanding this team. We beat Baylor and then lose to Colorado in the very next game... and then we beat OU on the road.

I have to admit that the Tech game has me worried!!! We SHOULD win but WILL WE WIN?...you never know with this team.

We've made it into the dance with a 7-9 record in 2001 and that year we only won one game of the B12 tourney.

This year our wins against Arizona State (then 21), DePaul (then 13), OSU (then 13), Baylor (then 8) and OU (then 10) give us a good chance of getting in. It's a shame we couldn't get one against A&M. All bets are off if this team falls to Tech this week. Then I think a good run in the B12 tourney becomes more important.
 
It's also a matter of how other teams do. We don't get a "lock" unless we win the tournament. The comments I've read about the brackets seem to indicate that folks don't really like this team, they just don't see anyone better to put in the bottom half of the field of 64. Let's prove them wrong and get folks liking this team.
