Texas at OSU

GG is not the only coach to ever publicly call our their players when the don't perform up to par. Refer to K mulkey, geno, and Brenda freese to name a few of the most successful. And it happens on the mens side more often than not. And the list of coaches you previously named above were awful. K. Meir (Miami) has been on the job for 12 years and she's just now having success. Flournoy and Staley as well have not shown they could consistently win at the elite level. I would concur with coach waltz at Louisville though, I like his style. And personally I wouldnt want a coach who hasnt won a NC or been to multiple FF's. It's hard to coach kids to a level you've never been.

I also wouldn't mind having Muffett as our HC, my only concern is her age and how long she would stay in the profession. But mulkey would be ideal if there were a need for a replacemt (which there isn't) but she would never leave what she has at Baylor. What could Texas offer her that she doesn't ready have?

"Seattle, not sure you should use this as your sign off. Jody's record in the Big XII isn't all that amazing. 68-60 without the three year with Jamie Carey (42-6 the years with Jamie)."

This just shows how important the point guard position is- by the way I was joking about jody - but I guarantee you we would not be this fundamentally unsound with her
