Texas A&M Regent: Schedule Texas for 'cupcake' football game

If it WAS in Ft. Worth in stead of River Oaks, Houston, this would probably already have happened:

"Buz" neighbor: "Hey, Buz, got a spare section of tread that I can borrow? Blew off my right tread the other day at Sam's Club parking lot doing some figure 8s and broke a couple of cleats."

"Buz": "I would, but already gave up what I had to Leroy and Billy Bob down the street to repair their Sherms. Might ask them if they've got any left."
 
Having grown up in Fort Worth, I can picture this tank being in the front yard of a home in River Oaks in FW long before I would guess a homeowner in River Oaks in Houston doing the same... River Oaks in FW and Houston couldn't be more unlike each other.

However, this tank IS in the Houston River Oaks (and is the same tank I had mentioned in another thread and that is conveniently being ignored by a particular poster).

But a tank in River Oaks does seem odd. Is it still there?

Nah...he wants Sumlin gone...call Leach and have Leach swing his sword.

That would be the River Oaks nightmare...TWO attorneys that aren't afraid to voice opinions.
 
Buzbee knows what happened the last time River Oaks challenged a wealthy resident (wealthy as in not house poor). They had to wait for Mr Holmes to die to affect change, and that was decades.
 
Their Regents are truly not worth listening to... the egomania and need to look around for something to feel good about is indicative enough that power, position or status is not an indication of maturity.
 
They can have my tank when they pry it from my 3-year-old's peanut butter-smeared hands.

Editor's note: I don't have a 3-year-old, I just though it was a good line.

A Dallas woman is facing felony charges after police say she destroyed at least $300,000 worth of sculptures and original paintings at the River Oaks home of well-known Houston trial lawyer Anthony Buzbee.

Lindy Lou Layman, 29, was charged Saturday with felony criminal mischief in the incident. Houston police allege in court documents that Layman threw two abstract sculptures and destroyed three original paintings at Buzbee's mansion. She was released on a $30,000 bond.

This goes back to my story of having several drinking glasses tossed my way by my ex. Luckily it was pretty much her apartment and it was her stuff that was being broken. NEVER break up with anyone (especially a mistress) at your place.
